By using GymLensIQ, you accept the following terms and our privacy policy. Please read carefully before continuing.
HEALTH DISCLAIMER
GymLensIQ is for informational purposes only and should not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a licensed physician before starting any exercise program, especially if you have health problems, injuries, medical conditions, or are taking medication.
GymLensIQ and its developers assume no responsibility for injuries, accidents, or health problems that may occur when using our workout recommendations.
AI-generated workouts are suggestions based on algorithms. They cannot replace professional fitness advice, medical advice, or a personal trainer.
We do not guarantee any fitness, health, strength, weight loss, or performance results from using the app.
Stop training immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, breathing difficulties, or other uncomfortable symptoms.
SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PAYMENTS
Free Access
GymLensIQ may offer new users a limited number of free uses of certain premium features, such as free AI-generated workouts, at no cost.
After the free uses are exhausted, continued access to premium features requires an active subscription, active trial, or other valid premium access.
Free uses have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are limited per user account unless stated otherwise in the app.
The number of free uses and eligible features may change over time and will be shown in the app.
Free Trial
GymLensIQ may offer a free trial for eligible new subscribers, as shown in the app.
No charges will be made during the free trial period.
Your subscription will begin automatically at the end of the trial unless canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
Eligibility for the free trial may vary by platform, region, or user account. If a free trial is offered, any unused portion may be forfeited when a subscription is purchased.
Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your subscription will continue to renew at the same price and frequency until you cancel it.
Billing
Your Apple App Store or Google Play account will be charged upon confirmation of purchase.
Your account will also be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
All payments made through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store are processed by Apple or Google according to their terms, payment rules, and refund policies.
Prices are shown in the app at the time of purchase and may vary by region, currency, platform, or offer.
Managing Your Subscription
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
GymLensIQ cannot cancel App Store or Google Play subscriptions on your behalf. You must cancel through the store where you purchased the subscription.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until the subscription expires.
Refunds
Refunds for subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play are provided only by Apple or Google, depending on where you purchased the subscription.
GymLensIQ does not issue refunds directly for App Store or Google Play purchases. All refund requests must be submitted to Apple or Google according to their refund policies.
Where required by local consumer protection laws, applicable refund rights will apply.
Price Changes
Subscription prices may change with notice where required by applicable law or platform rules.
Existing subscriptions are not affected by price changes until the next renewal period after the notice, where such notice is required.
BUSINESS SUBSCRIPTION CODES
GymLensIQ may offer business subscriptions through subscription codes, also referred to as company codes or business codes.
This means that a company or organization may purchase a number of subscription codes from Lumos Ignite AB and then distribute those codes to employees or other people the company wants to offer access to GymLensIQ.
A user who receives a business code downloads GymLensIQ, creates or uses their own account, and redeems the code in the app. When the code is redeemed, GymLensIQ Premium access is activated for the user's account for the period connected to the code.
The company is responsible for its own internal distribution of the codes, including deciding who receives a code and how the codes are shared.
Lumos Ignite AB is responsible for providing the app, managing the subscription codes, and processing user data according to this Terms & Privacy Policy.
A business subscription code has no cash value and may not be sold, transferred, exchanged, or used for any purpose other than activating GymLensIQ Premium access, unless otherwise agreed in writing with Lumos Ignite AB.
Lumos Ignite AB may deactivate, limit, or refuse redemption of codes in case of misuse, suspected fraud, expired codes, invalid codes, or use outside the agreed business subscription terms.
AGE RESTRICTIONS
You must be at least 18 years old to use GymLensIQ.
This app is not intended for anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a minor, we will delete it.

WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT?
We may collect and process the following types of data when you use GymLensIQ:
- Basic account information, such as name and email address
- Profile information you enter, such as age, weight, height, gender, experience level, fitness goals, training preferences, and available equipment
- Training data you record, such as exercises, sets, reps, weights, completed sessions, personal records, workout history, and progress statistics
- Generated workout data, such as AI-generated workouts, programs, exercise recommendations, and progression suggestions
- Images you take to analyze gym equipment. Images are used for analysis and are deleted immediately after analysis. Images are not stored in the app.
- Usage statistics to improve the app
- Device information, such as operating system, app version, and technical logs for troubleshooting and support
- Local storage/device storage data, such as settings stored using AsyncStorage or similar technologies
- Subscription status, trial status, premium status, or business code activation status
- Support messages and other communication you send to us
Health Data
If you choose to connect Apple Health, HealthKit, or other supported health integrations, we may read selected health-related data with your permission. This may include data such as workouts, steps, body measurements, heart rate, active energy burned, or other training-related information.
Health data is optional and is only processed when you choose to enable the relevant integration and grant permission.
HEALTH DATA / APPLE HEALTH
GymLensIQ may, with your explicit consent, read certain health data from Apple Health, HealthKit, or other supported health integrations to improve your training recommendations and fitness insights.
What health data may be collected?
Depending on your permissions and device settings, this may include:
- Workout data
- Active energy burned
- Training sessions
- Steps
- Body measurements, such as weight, height, or body fat percentage
- Heart rate or other training-related biometric information
We never write data back to Apple Health without your explicit permission.
How we use health data
We may use health data to:
- Personalize your training recommendations
- Generate improved workout programs
- Display fitness history and progress trends
- Improve your training experience in the app
What we never do with health data
We never sell health data.
We never use health data for advertising or marketing.
We never share HealthKit data with advertising networks, data brokers, or third-party analytics providers.
We never share HealthKit data with an employer or company that has purchased business subscription codes.
We never send HealthKit data to external AI systems without your explicit consent.
Health data storage and retention
Health data is stored only as long as needed to provide functionality or as part of your user account if you choose to sync it.
You may revoke access at any time through Apple Health settings, your device settings, or within the app where available.
Health data will be deleted if you delete your account or request removal of your data, unless we are legally required to retain certain information.
User consent for health data
By enabling Apple Health or another health integration, you provide explicit consent for GymLensIQ to read and process the selected health data as described in this Privacy Policy.
You may withdraw this consent at any time by disabling access in your device settings or within the app where available.
BUSINESS CODES AND EMPLOYER ACCESS
GymLensIQ may be offered through business subscription codes.
A company or organization may purchase subscription codes from Lumos Ignite AB and distribute them to employees or other eligible users. The company is responsible for its own internal handling and distribution of the codes.
A user who receives a business code uses GymLensIQ as an individual user. The user downloads the app, creates or uses their own account, and redeems the code in the app.
Lumos Ignite AB processes the user's personal data according to this Terms & Privacy Policy.
What the company can see
The company does not receive access to individual users' personal data, training data, workouts, goals, level, weights, personal records, statistics, history, health data, or other information about how a specific user uses GymLensIQ.
Lumos Ignite AB may provide the company with general information about the business subscription, such as:
- Number of purchased codes
- Number of activated codes
- General activation status
- Code validity period
This information is provided for administration of the business subscription only.
The company does not receive a list of which users have redeemed codes, unless this has been separately agreed in writing and is legally appropriate.
Technical connection between a code and a user account
In our systems, a business code may need to be technically connected to a user account in order to activate GymLensIQ Premium, manage validity period, provide support, prevent misuse, and ensure that the code works correctly.
This technical connection is not used to share individual training data or user activity with the company.
Individual training data is not shared with the company.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR DATA?
We use your data to:
- Create and manage your GymLensIQ account
- Provide access to free features, premium features, trials, subscriptions, and business code access
- Generate personalized workouts that match your goals, level, preferences, and available equipment
- Analyze gym equipment images when you choose to use image-based features
- Display training history, progress statistics, personal records, and training milestones
- Provide workout programs and exercise recommendations
- Improve app functionality, performance, and user experience
- Provide customer support and troubleshoot technical issues
- Prevent fraud, misuse, unauthorized access, or security issues
- Comply with legal obligations
- Develop and improve GymLensIQ using aggregated or anonymized insights
We do not sell your personal data.
We do not use your personal data for third-party advertising.
DATA RETENTION
We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law.
Training images used for gym equipment analysis are deleted immediately after analysis.
You can request deletion of your data at any time through the app settings, where available, or by contacting us at: hello@lumosignite.com
If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data unless we are required to retain certain information for legal, accounting, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS
We use third-party service providers to deliver and improve GymLensIQ.
These may include services such as:
- Google Firebase / Google Cloud for authentication, database, storage, analytics, crash reporting, and technical infrastructure
- Google Gemini AI or other AI services for workout generation and image analysis
- Apple App Store and Google Play for subscriptions, payments, and app distribution
- RevenueCat or similar providers for subscription management
- Email, support, hosting, analytics, or technical service providers
These providers may process your data on our behalf or as independent service providers depending on the service.
HealthKit data is never shared with advertising networks, data brokers, or third-party analytics providers.
We do not share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes without your explicit consent.
LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING
Contractual necessity
We process data when it is necessary to deliver the app, manage accounts, provide premium access, subscriptions, trials, payments, business code access, and app functionality.
Consent
We process data based on consent when required, such as for optional health integrations, Apple Health/HealthKit access, and certain image analysis or AI-related features where consent is required.
You can withdraw consent at any time through app settings, device settings, or by contacting us.
Explicit consent for health data
Where applicable, explicit consent is required for the processing of sensitive health data obtained through Apple Health, HealthKit, or similar integrations.
You may withdraw this consent at any time, which will stop future processing of such data.
Legitimate interest
We may process data based on our legitimate interest to:
- Improve the app
- Analyze anonymized or aggregated usage patterns
- Provide support
- Prevent fraud and misuse
- Maintain security
- Troubleshoot errors
- Develop new features
You may object to this processing where applicable.
Legal obligation

TERMS OF USE
You may use GymLensIQ for:
- Personal training and fitness development
- Generating customized AI workouts
- Viewing your training history and stats
- Tracking workouts, progress, and personal records
- Using premium features if you have an active subscription, active trial, valid business code, or other valid premium access
You may not:
- Use the service for commercial purposes without written permission
- Sell, resell, transfer, or misuse business subscription codes
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or our systems
- Upload harmful, illegal, abusive, or misleading content
- Use the app in a way that violates applicable law
- Reverse engineer, copy, or exploit the app or its systems
- Use GymLensIQ as a replacement for professional medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or rehabilitation
You are responsible for your own safety during training. Listen to your body and train within your limits.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lumos Ignite AB and its suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or similar damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, physical injury, health issues, or other intangible losses resulting from:
- Your access to or use of the app
- Your inability to access or use the app
- Any workout, exercise, recommendation, or content generated by the app
- Any conduct or content of any third party on or linked from the app
- Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your data or content
- Technical issues, service interruptions, third-party failures, or AI-generated errors
Your use of the app is at your sole risk. The app is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer protection law.
AI AND MACHINE LEARNING
GymLensIQ uses AI services from third-party providers, such as Google Gemini, to generate personalized workouts, analyze gym equipment images, and provide training-related suggestions.
AI-generated recommendations are experimental in nature and may not always be accurate, complete, safe, or suitable for your specific situation.
Always verify that suggested exercises are safe and appropriate for your body, experience level, environment, and available equipment.
AI-generated workouts are suggestions only. They are not medical advice, professional fitness advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a guarantee of results.
What data may be shared with AI services?
To generate requested recommendations, we may share relevant information with AI services, such as:
- Basic profile data you manually enter, such as age, weight, height, gender, fitness goals, and experience level
- Training preferences and available equipment
- Training data you record, such as exercises, sets, reps, completed workouts, and workout history
- Images you take of gym equipment for analysis
- Optional HealthKit data only if you provide explicit consent for such use
Images used for equipment analysis are deleted immediately after analysis.
HealthKit data is not shared with external AI systems unless you provide explicit consent for that specific use.
We do not sell your data and do not use your data for advertising.
We may use aggregated or anonymized usage insights to improve our own templates, prompts, features, and app experience.
AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING AND PROFILING
Some workout recommendations are generated using automated systems and AI.
These outputs are suggestions only and are not professional advice.
GymLensIQ does not use automated decision-making to make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on users, such as decisions about employment, insurance, credit, healthcare entitlement, or access to legal rights.
THIRD-PARTY VIDEO CONTENT
GymLensIQ may provide optional links to publicly available YouTube videos or other external video content for exercise demonstrations.
All videos remain the property of their respective creators.
GymLensIQ does not own, host, or claim any rights to the linked video content.
Video content is provided for educational and demonstration purposes only.
The availability and content of external videos are controlled by their respective creators and platforms.
We are not responsible for the accuracy, safety, availability, or appropriateness of third-party video content.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
All content and materials within GymLensIQ, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, design, software, app structure, and other materials, are the property of Lumos Ignite AB or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial use, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Business subscription codes do not transfer any ownership rights, intellectual property rights, or commercial usage rights.
DATA SECURITY
We use technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure.
Data is encrypted during transmission where appropriate.
We use secure cloud services, including Google Firebase and Google Cloud, for data storage, authentication, backup, and app infrastructure.
Access to systems containing personal data is restricted to authorized access where needed for operation, support, security, troubleshooting, development, or legal compliance.
No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
DATA BREACH NOTIFICATIONS
In the event of a personal data breach that poses a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority, Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten in Sweden, without undue delay and, where feasible, no later than 72 hours after becoming aware of the breach.
If the breach is likely to result in a high risk to you, we will also notify you directly where required by law.
INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Some of our service providers, such as Google Firebase, Google Cloud, Google Gemini AI, or other technical providers, may process data outside the European Economic Area.
Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent legal mechanisms.

JURISDICTION
This app and its use are governed by Swedish law.
Any disputes shall be resolved in Swedish courts, unless mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence provide otherwise.
Nothing in these terms affects mandatory consumer rights under the laws of the country where you reside.
For EU consumers, disputes may be resolved through applicable consumer dispute resolution mechanisms.
US AND INTERNATIONAL USERS
The app is controlled, operated, and administered by Lumos Ignite AB from Sweden.
To the maximum extent permitted by the law of your jurisdiction, these Terms and Privacy Policy are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict of law principles.
To the maximum extent permitted by the law of your jurisdiction, you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of Swedish courts for disputes arising out of or relating to your use of the app.
Nothing in these terms limits any non-waivable statutory rights, consumer protection rights, or other mandatory provisions that may apply under the laws of the country in which you reside.
SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS AND MAINTENANCE
We reserve the right to temporarily interrupt the service for maintenance, updates, technical changes, security measures, or operational reasons.
We are not responsible for interruptions caused by force majeure, natural disasters, third-party providers, technical problems, internet outages, app store issues, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
The app depends on third-party services, including Google, Firebase, Apple, Google Play, AI services, and other infrastructure providers, which may affect availability.
We do not guarantee 100% uptime but strive to provide reliable service.
CHANGES TO TERMS
We may update these Terms and Privacy Policy from time to time.
For significant changes, we will notify you through the app, email, or another appropriate method where required.
Continued use of the app after changes become effective means you accept the updated terms.
If you do not accept the updated terms, you may stop using the app and, where applicable, terminate your account or cancel your subscription.
By continuing to use GymLensIQ, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Privacy Policy.
