Choosing the right digital wellness benefit for your company

Written by Erik Sellberg · Fact-checked against the sources below

The best digital wellness benefit is the one employees actually use and that is simple for you to administer. Compare providers on personalisation, data security, admin overhead, and price — not just feature count. Here are the criteria that matter.

What should you compare when choosing a wellness benefit?

Start with employee needs and consider a pilot before a larger agreement. Compare in particular:

  • Personalisation: does the service adapt to each employee's goals, level, and equipment?
  • Data security and privacy: is individual data handled in a GDPR-safe way, and can you as an employer see individual employees' data (you should not be able to)?
  • Admin overhead: how easy is it to roll out to new employees — is it manual, or handled via codes/licences?
  • Scalability: does the setup work for a team of five as well as for the whole organisation?
  • Price: is it invoiced per licence per year, and can you start on a smaller scale?

How do you make sure employees actually use the benefit?

Practical barriers, weak communication, and an offer that does not suit different needs can all limit use. Explain the value clearly, keep participation voluntary, and evaluate a pilot through anonymous feedback. Ready-made, personalised plans may lower the barrier, but actual use needs to be measured in your organisation.

Can we start on a small scale?

Yes, and it is often wise to. Many providers, GymLensIQ included, offer the option to start with a smaller pilot for one team or department before rolling out to the whole organisation. That lets you evaluate engagement and value before committing to a larger setup.

Why GymLensIQ is a strong wellness benefit

GymLensIQ is an AI training coach that creates personal workouts based on each employee's goals, level, and equipment — no manual program design required. Rollout happens via company codes that employees redeem themselves, you are invoiced annually per licence, and you can start with a pilot for one team.

The employer never sees individual employees' training data — only anonymous, aggregated reporting. Get in touch and we will put together a proposal based on your number of users.
